Origin 2018 SR1 was posted on January 9, 2018. The SR1 update was made to address three issues as discussed on the information page for Service Release 1 for Origin 2018.

Origin 2018 SR1 is a complete installation package, not a patch. Thus, if you are eligible for Origin 2018 but have not yet installed it, you can use this package to upgrade your Origin 2017 installation to Origin 2018. If you are already using Origin 2018, you are encouraged to install this service release.

How do I get 2018 SR1? If your OriginLab Maintenance Service is active, you can download 2018 SR1 at this link (if you are not logged into OriginLab.com, you will be asked to log in). Then, follow the Instructions at the bottom of this page.

Free 21-day Trial: If you do not subscribe to OriginLab's Maintenance Service, you can still download a fully-functional Evaluation Copy of Origin/OriginPro 2018 that will run for 21 days. You can continue working with your current version of Origin while you explore and evaluate 2018.
