Use Initial Formula to
Better Guess Fitting Parameter Values from Data
Good parameter initialization results in fast and reliable model-data convergence. For Origin users, one solution has been to write custom LabTalk scripts or Origin C functions to better estimate parameters values.

Bruce A. Diner recently retired as a Senior Research Fellow with DuPont’s Industrial Biosciences division. In this case study, Bruce tells us how he used Origin to complete a study of the effectiveness of gaseous ammonia pretreatments for decreasing the energy input required for fine milling of lignocellulosic biomass, for conversion to ethanol.
