Dr. Robert Green and his team study the properties of various materials at an atomic level, in hopes of finding innovative ways in which these materials can be used in constructing the next generation of computer chips. The team notes that it is a significant yet important challenge to analyze and present results in a way that advances the team's understanding of the underlying quantum principles and, at the same time, helps the team to convey that understanding to a wider audience.
