New Origin 9.1 Review in PhysicsToday |
Physics Today recently published an indepth
review of the recently released version 9.1. The review noted that: "The updated Origin is jam-packed with new types of plots and graphs, but in a stroke rare for graphical software, these new, complex plots have been made as easy to graph as the simplest line plot."

Featured Customer Story |
Jason Nikkel, a graduate student who works with
Professor Jacob Jones at the North Carolina State University, uses Origin to compile and present data from the team's research on structure-property characterization of materials.
Origin features such as the multiple axes functionality allowed Nikkel and his team to represent non-linear relationships. The 3D OpenGL plots such as colormap surfaces were also useful for visualizing multi-variable problems. The team used multi-panel functionality and inset graphs for easy comparison and emphasis on specific points.
